KinomeScout™ is a versatile and well-established tool for kinase biology that works with native proteins under physiological conditions to direct the design of potent and selective small-molecule drug candidates, while circumventing typical downsides of protein kinase panel assays. The technology is based on proprietary kinase-binding matrices that can be used to profile over 300 different kinases and other ATP binding proteins (such as helicases or phospho-diesterases). Thanks to our Kinobeads-like chemical proteomics approach, kinase inhibitors can be profiled without the need for labels on compounds or proteins. The KinomeScout™ technology enables selectivity profiling by testing hits, leads and drug candidates against all kinases in a tissue or cell type in a single experiment, facilitating identification of off-targets and providing physiologically relevant selectivity and affinity information (such as EC50 and estimated Kd values).
We offer multiple workflow options to match your experimental needs. The assay is also readily available as KinomeScout™ HT format for profiling 1,000 to 10,000s of protein kinase inhibitors in a reasonable timeframe.
We can also profile kinase inhibitors and other ATP-binding proteins using activity-based profiling approaches, such as ActivX (KiNative™).
