Biomarker Discovery, Development & Analysis
A biomarker refers to any measurable indicator that signifies a particular physiological process, disease state, or biological condition. Biomarkers can serve predictive, diagnostic, or prognostic roles and have significant value in both preclinical and clinical contexts. Pharmacodynamic biomarkers are used to measure the reactions of biological systems to pharmacological perturbations and are critical to demonstrating drug efficacy. Molecular biomarkers are often proteins but can also be lipids, sugars, and other biomolecules.
Our services enable unbiased biomarker discovery, targeted biomarker discovery and development, and biomarker analysis of 100s to 10,000s of samples. We offer a flexible suite of quantitative multiplexed MS-based assays that can be tailored to project-specific requirements, ensuring superior identification and profiling of relevant biomarker candidates.
Over the past 10+ years, we have developed targeted assays for many important protein biomarkers, such as cytokines and peptide hormones, oncogenes, protein kinases, immuno-oncology-related proteins, as well as signaling sign-posts and numerous other classes of biomolecules.
