  • Non-Covalent Binding Assays

    Discover and characterize non-covalent leads with affinity selection mass spectrometry (ASMS). This powerful high-throughput approach can rapidly screen compound libraries to identify content that binds target proteins, nucleic acid targets and protein/protein or protein/nucleic acid complexes. Following initial screening, hits can be validated, rank-ordered, and quantitatively analyzed using the same ASMS technology, minimizing assay development time and accelerating innovation.

  • Covalent Binding Assays

    By leveraging the power of intact mass analysis (Intact-MS), covalent compounds can be readily screened in high-throughput. Our automated screening workflow integrates mass spectrometry hardware and analysis tools with in-house custom software to enable throughputs of up to 5K compounds per day. Secondary assays are also available to rank-order compound leads by potency (Kintact/Ki determination) or elucidate sequence selectivity (peptide mapping). Compounds of interest can be followed up in cell lysates or live cells with our activity-based protein profiling services.

  • Omicscouts

    Proteomics & Chemoproteomics

    We offer an extensive collection of proteomic and chemoproteomic technologies – developed by OmicScouts, A Momentum Biotechnologies Company – that harness the quantitative power of mass spectrometry to deliver actionable biological insights. Our flexible and scalable assay suite enables the system-wide interrogation of protein abundance, turnover, modifications, interactions, and localization across a wide variety of sample types, taking you all the way from discovery and target identification through preclinical work and even exploratory studies of clinical samples.

  • Small Molecule Analysis

    Momentum offers assay development and analysis for small molecule quantification on HPLC-MS, RapidFire-MS, and ICP-MS platforms. The RapidFire-MS system allows ultrafast, automated, label-free functional screening, generating 10,000 datapoints per day and up to 40,000 using BLAZE-mode, while our ICP-MS capabilities enable ultra-sensitive detection of virtually any element or isotope. We can perform biomarker quantification, potency assays, and pharmacokinetic studies, and we have extensive experience measuring lipids, amino acids, sugars, and metabolites.

  • Oligo Analysis

    Momentum has extensive experience in the analysis of nucleic acids by mass spectrometry, allowing us to provide mass determination, purity/impurity analysis, covalent modification characterization. We can also provide specialty workflows, such as RNA cap and tail analyses and oligo sequencing, with industry-leading turnaround time. We routinely work with RNA/DNA oligos that are heavily modified and/or > 100 nucleotides in length.
